See what past families have said about our work together.

TAP Lab

Donna has been a dedicated member of TAP Lab since 2022 and is now fully trained to use our equipment, including the laser cutter, heat press, and CNC machine, with confidence and care. She works independently, collaborates well with others, and always follows health and safety procedures. It’s been inspiring to watch her continue developing her skills and bring her creative projects to life.

When my beloved husband passed, Bill crafted a beautiful memorial urn that now holds him with grace and dignity. Every detail reflected love, wairua, and respect. Even though Bill is no longer with us, his legacy lives on through Donna’s work. To Donna, thank you for continuing to share his light and aroha with the world — I will always treasure this gift.

Our Story

Donna-Maree Taonga

The heart at the centre of my logo represents aroha (love), which is the foundation of everything I do. It reflects the deep care and respect I hold for people, for culture, and for the taonga (treasures) we leave behind.

This logo is a tribute to my late husband, Bill, whose legacy continues to inspire the kaupapa of my business. The work I do is rooted in honouring life, grieving with dignity, and celebrating those who have passed. Each piece I create, from carved crosses to urns and memorials, carries with it the spirit of whānau, connection, and healing.

The simplicity of the heart design reflects humility and authenticity. It’s not about being flashy; it’s about doing meaningful work with purpose and compassion.

Donna-Maree Taonga isn’t just a business; it’s a calling. And this logo is a symbol of that journey.

Warm regards,
Ngā mihi nui
